If you made it to the baptism after the service today at Hoover, you heard me say something that actually was incorrect. Here was the incorrect statement:
"Jeremy Ott is the only Waterloo staff person who has been with us from day one."
The corrected statement is:
"Jeremy Ott is the only Waterloo staff person who has been with us in the same position since day one."
Why is the first statement incorrect? Well, of course, our own Nicole Canfield has also been with Waterloo since day one. She just moved from the Weekids Coordinator where she began to the Kidventure Coordinator where she currently serves.
So: apologies to Nicole! And thanks to the person who quietly and gently pointed out my mistake after the baptism.
