The reports are coming in and it is pretty blustery out there! The snow plow left me an early Christmas present this morning, an extra 3 feet of snow in front of my drive, nice! So I hope that you are somewhere warm and safe today. If you are in for the day, in between work you took home, consider doing a few of these things:
- Bake something delicious and then put on your parka to take it to your neighbor. Nothing says you care like wading through snow drifts to deliver something warm and fresh!
- Talk on the phone with someone who needs to hear a word of encouragement or just be a friend with a listening ear.
- Drink hot cocoa or tea while you stare out the window watching the snow fall. This is a perfect time to pray for friends and neighbors who are out in the weather today or praise God for the seasons in our life
- Be with those you love and put buckets on your head…
